Welcome 2 Good News

I am very happy Manohara is safe and sound. Had it not been by the grace of the Divine, it would not have been possible. God’s way is never easy to understand. We should be thankful that US Embassy played an important role here.

The saga of Manohara has a happy ending. But what about Balasubramaniam and his family? Who will rescue them from hell? They are kept in isolation and being injected daily to sleep long period of time. So many months of suffering, each day they are losing hope, especially for the children. Is there no-one especially people like Mahathir or the Agong who can stop this cruel and inhumane act? Is Najib that powerful that human being cannot do something? Hello anyone!

Congratulation Mansor. You deserve it. I hope that after this experience PKR can work differently and stop being easily trapped by the works of UMNO. People in UMNO are desperados, knowing they have already dug their own grave too deep to be rescue. As for Aminah, she can now breastfeed Najib in peace.

IGP Musa and AG Gani Can Blackmail Najib

When Mahathir wanted to fix Anwar up, he promised Musa and Gani the number 1 post in their respective field. These two, highly ambitious men were willing to be partners in crime by putting aside their religion and dignity for a physical and monetary gain. Since they do not have any moral principle it was easy.

Fixing Anwar was just the beginning. Many stories have been exposed in the net about the working of these two, covering up cases like the one regarding the death of Kugan, letting the number 1 and 2 underground chief off, no case against Zahid Hamidi when he bash up the innocent boy, the murder of Darren by Nazri’s son, the person who contracted the job for the death of Canny Ong, the sex maniac son of MACC chief, Khalid the husband of Siti Nurhaliza incident etc………………

Many people are against the extension of Musa’s contract but they have to understand that Najib cannot afford to let him go. Half my life I grew up hearing and reading about the scandals of Najib. Though many of them were having sex with women, young girls and people’s wives but they were some serious cases like the commission for the submarines, C4 of Altantuya by his wife Rosmah, making sure Razaak was freed by the court and the abduction of Balasubramaniam and his family. Letting Musa go now is like having a time bomb eager to explode. To make life more interesting Musa always have the cooperation of Gani.

No matter what anyone says I truly believe that Musa and Gani are pulling the strings very tightly round Najib’s throat to get their way and stand to gain more.

Does The Malaysian IGP and Deputy IGP Have The Guts?

Sir Ken Jones (above right) at the announcement last week of Victoria Police's new hierarchy, pictured with Deputy Commissioner Ken Lay (centre) and Deputy Commissioner Kieran Walshe (left).

HE'S not just any ordinary copper. He's a sir. As in Sir Ken, knighted for services to the British police. And Victoria Police's new top-level recruit is, unlike many of his peers, not afraid to speak his mind.

Ken Jones, the state's new Deputy Commissioner for crime, believes the police force must be independent of politics.

"The minute policing becomes political," he says, "the public lose confidence in it." In the job he is leaving — head of the British Association of Chief Police Officers — he won few friends when he defended police after April's G20 protests in London.

Despite a public outcry over police tactics, and the death of a man, Ian Tomlinson, after being pushed to the ground by an officer, Sir Ken said members had, in the majority, had a "proportionate" response to the event. It is an opinion he sticks by.

"There are some (police officers) who misbehaved because they were under tremendous stress — that's no excuse, and they will be dealt with … and are entitled to due process … But the vast majority did a great job," he told The Sunday Age in an interview last week.

He may like to speak his mind and shun the interference of politicians, but already Sir Ken appears familiar with Victoria's political script when it comes to law and order. His attitude to an independent commission against crime and corruption — an idea repeatedly rejected by the Brumby Government — is a case in point.

Even though Sir Ken, 56, worked as an investigator for Hong Kong's Independent Commission Against Corruption, he does not think Victoria needs a similar body. Having looked at the Ombudsman's office, the Office of Police Integrity and the force's ethical standards department, he says: "I have to say that they contain many of the features you would find in a crime commission. My view is that we've got what we need."

It was a response that could have come out of Premier John Brumby's media unit, yet Sir Ken adds: "That's a very quick judgement and I need more time. But if we need something more, (Chief Commissioner) Simon (Overland) as well as me and the others would be very quick to say it."

As well as tackling corruption in Hong Kong, Sir Ken has also monitored elections in Zimbabwe, worked in Canada and the United States, headed up the 6000-strong Sussex Police force and was a contender to be London's police commissioner. Heading up the Association of Chief Police Officers, the 38-year police veteran was responsible for developing British capacity to fight terrorism and co-ordinated strategic responses to events such as civil emergencies.

All of this begs the question: why come halfway around the world to be a deputy commissioner in the Victorian police force?

The thing is, Sir Ken tried to, as he says, "nick" the chief commissioner's job from Overland. He now concedes that Overland was "the best fit — but I had to have a crack".

Also, his contract at the association was ending. He and his wife, Kaye — they have a 21-year-old daughter — were keen to live somewhere outside Britain. "For us, the dream was always to come and live here (in Australia) and live in this city as well. So for us everything just came together at the right time."

The British policeman was also attracted to Overland's attitude to policing: a willingness to try new things. "This is a progressive, open organisation," he says of the Victoria Police. "And it has to be, frankly. You can't continue to do things the way you always have done, or you will get what you've always got.

"I think people are moving through such change — a change probably more fundamental than the industrial and agricultural revolutions. I think the information age that we are moving (through) is so fundamental, if organisations like policing aren't open and up-to-date on that, we will let people down."

Yet Sir Ken is a mix of the old and the new. He's quite the traditionalist in many senses. He believes the force's values and integrity must be immutable and that policing is, at its heart, about servicing the community's needs, about safe neighbourhoods. It's also about uniforms and the "look and feel" of policing, about "always being there for people 24-seven, 365 days a year".

In 2007, Sir Ken called on Britain's National Health Service to prescribe heroin as a way of reducing crime and overdoses, claiming a hardcore of drug users committed crime to feed their addiction. "We have to find a way of dealing with them, and licensed prescription is definitely something we should be thinking about," he said.

However, he told The Sunday Age he opposes legalising any drugs. "We already have two legalised narcotics — alcohol and tobacco — and as a parent I don't see why children should be exposed to any other legal narcotic. It's a slippery slope."

In Sussex he was appointed chief constable "to make a difference" in a force that had been beset by problems, according to John Godfrey, chief executive of the regional police. The brief was "to raise morale within the police force, to increase public confidence in policing in Sussex and to improve the performance of the police force", Godfrey said. "He really did fulfil all our expectations."

He initiated "force performance meetings", a monthly event at which officers and police commanders were held to account in front of their peers. Godfrey says the meetings had a galvanising effect and produced solid improvements, which were noted in the community and were a direct result of what Sir Ken describes as his style of "intrusive management". As Godfrey says: "You knew when Ken was about. He put a bit of stick about the force when it was needed."

Sir Ken, who rides a Harley-Davidson — "that sounds a bit of a cliche, I know" — and is a big cricket fan, does not want Victorians to think he will arrive with all the answers to solve crime. Alcohol-fuelled violence, for example, is a problem seen across many big cities and needs to be tackled by police, government, planning and liquor licensing authorities and the venues. "Expecting just the cops to pick up the negative costs of a poorly regulated, profit-hungry international business is probably not a good idea. You need a sophisticated approach."

He says although a more visible police presence is one crime-fighting tool, relying on it alone will bring failure. "There are a whole host of criminal types that frankly are not deterred by a visible police presence, and there are a lot more that are." He also warns that criminals are moving quickly into identity theft and electronic scamming.

And for all the political football played with crime statistics, his take is that people have lost faith in the numbers and don't believe them unless they are expressed in a very local way — on a neighbourhood level (something Victoria Police has recently tried to address). "Currently in the UK, people are at a 25-year-low risk of being a victim of crime," he says. "But they don't believe that."

Although he's very measured throughout the Sunday Age interview, he's most animated at the end when talking about the glamorisation of criminals in Victoria. He does not name names, but presumably he is talking about the Underbelly television series on Melbourne's gangland wars.

"I think it is totally wrong … These are people, frankly, who are nasty, evil, vile people, whose morals corrode and undermine the good people of Victoria … I want the media to celebrate people who are developing cures for cancer or doing brave, wonderful things — not these people."

Images of Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ In Marmite Jar

A FAMILY'S breakfast turned into a bizarre religious experience when they spotted what they believe is the face of Jesus Christ in a jar of Marmite.

Claire Allen, 36, was the first to notice the image, on the underside of the lid, as she was putting the yeast spread on her son's toast.

And husband Gareth, 37, said he could not believe his eyes when she showed him.

Mr Allen, of Ystrad, Rhondda, South Wales, said: "Claire saw it first and called her dad to come and take a photo of it.

"When I first looked at it I wasn't sure, but when I moved it away from me it started coming out. I thought Christ, yeah, she's right - that's the image of Jesus.

"The kids are still eating it, but we kept the lid."

Mrs Allen said her 14-year-old son Jamie had also remarked on the likeness.

She told the South Wales Echo: "Straight away Jamie said 'that looks like God', and my other boys (Robbie, four, and Tomas, 11) even said they could see a face.

"People might think I'm nuts, but I like to think it's Jesus looking out for us. We've had a tough couple of months; my mum's been really ill and it's comforting to think that if he is there, he's watching over us."

Rosmah Need Help

Parents or guardians who cannot control their anger or cope with stress should seek expert help or counselling. Rosmah Mansor said the inability to control anger or cope with pressure was among psychological problems that required the serious attention of qualified professionals.

Rosmah your refusal to seek professional help had led to the murder of Altantuya, how long do you think you can run away from this?

Najib’s Level of Cruelty and Inhumane act is worse than Ah Long.

It was reported in the news that Najib expressed shock over the cruel acts of loan sharks or ah long in torturing their debtors for failure to settle their loans.

“I am surprised over the LEVEL OF CRUELTY and the INHUMANE ACTS of the ah long. I hope the authorities will take action according to the law.” These were the exact words of Najib the Prime Minister of Malaysia.

Its was reported that three men were rescued by police from a shop lot in Taman Bukit Serdang after being held captive for two months by loan sharks for failing to settle their debts.

The victims, found chained by the neck and legs and showing signs of having been beaten by their captors, were abducted when they were not able to settle their debts of between RM1,000 and RM4,000 each.

Najib Oh Najib why do we always have to remind you, the manner in which Altantuya was abducted and held capture for two hours pleading for her live in your own home before she was C4.

Then we have Balasubramaniam and his family. They were brought to Prince Hotel for the night to make another statutory declaration this time omitting your involvement with Altantuya’s cruel death. Knowing Balasubramaniam is the only link left to your crime, you now have him holed up in Rawang under the watchful eyes (24-7) of your special regime. Your deceit act to have news spread that Balasubramaniam and his family had received monetary gain and is now residing in India is nothing short of a fart. I understand you have given instruction to the special regime to kill the whole family if found by the public is also another act of cruelty and inhumane. The family had done no wrong to you except to be present to the truth.

Najib you have no right no matter what position you hold to comment or give your opinion when your action towards the death of Altantuya and holding captive Balasubramaniam and his family is worse.

As for the authorities, which one are you referring to, that are BRAVE ENOUGH to hold you and Rosmah responsible for ABDUCTION AND MURDER. Hopefully one day your own regime can turn the table round.

Fairy Tale Rock Formations

A popular attraction in central Turkey, Cappadocia is known for the fairy-tale-like rock formations that bespeckle the region. Called fairy chimneys, or hoodoos, these formations have been carved by erosion over the millennia. Fairy chimneys can be found in other parts of the world such as Bryce Canyon in Utah or Badlands National Monument in South Dakota, but Cappadocia’s early inhabitants turned them into an extensive network of homes and churches.

Forensic Result For UMNO

The term “phobia” originates from the Greek, phobos. and means an irrational and intense fear of something, or a persistent fear of certain situations, activities, things or people. Phobias are mental disorders or even mental illnesses, whose definitions embrace at least 105 different kinds of anxiety (according to the Penguin Dictionary of Psychology).

These range from those categorized as mild to those considered “acute,” depending on the nature of the disorder. The further it is from a sense of what is real and the more intense the anxiety disorder experienced, the more the likely the disorder would is considered “acute,” or categorized as mental illness.

From the explanation above, clearly an individual with a phobia is an individual who has a psychological problem which may require treatment or therapy. It is not difficult to overcome a mild phobia, for example acrophobia (the fear of heights), claustrophobia (fear of confined spaces) or nyctophobia/scotophobia (fear of darkness).

Morbid fears in phobias such as these, aside from having individual characteristics, can also be directed at inanimate objects and general situations.

An interesting phenomenon can sometimes occur when there is a significant shift in opinions about who needs treatment and therapy. When a phobia affects a group of people or an entire society, a shift occurs – from an individual suffering from a disorder, to a group of people affected by a phobia. Such shifts turn things upside down, when a group has a phobia as a common characteristic.

Then, as in the law of “mass mentality” in social psychology, what is characterized as morbid in a phobia can change from a form of disorder to a form of common order (common sense). I perceive this is the case with xenophobia (the fear of foreigners) and homophobia (fear of homosexuals).

Still, homophobia is a form of phobia that affects the greatest number of societies in the world.

Meditation For School Children

The film-maker David Lynch wants schools to teach meditation and has announced a campaign to support "consciousness-based" education around the world. Last month, Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr joined other music stars for a New York concert that raised £2m for his transcendental cause.

Lynch argues that every child needs "to dive into within himself and experience the field of silence – bliss – the enormous reservoir of energy and intelligence which is within us all." And the 600-plus pupils at Latchmere School in Kingston upon Thames would agree. Every child in this busy, successful primary school spends an hour a week in the school's chill-out Blue Room learning meditation and relaxation techniques, including visualisation and massage.

The Year Six pupils are the school's most experienced meditators. They have been doing it for four years and say they will take what they've learnt with them when they move to secondary school. In fact, they already use it in their daily lives. "I had a broken arm and was in hospital and it was all hectic and my arm hurt and so I used deep breathing and it felt better," says Charlie Baker.

Kate Rouvray, 11, also benefits from meditation. "We've had to do a lot of SAT practice tests but I did my breathing and felt really calm," she says.

According to Chris Howden, 11, meditation has changed the whole ethos of the school. "When you're playing games and people are arguing about goals and stuff, they know how to calm themselves down and get on with it," he says.

Over the years, these pupils have become so practised in settling down and turning inwards that when deputy head Kevin Hogston leads them in a short meditation session, they drop easily into a deep and focused calm.

Hogston developed the idea some years ago when looking at ways to encourage creativity and good learning. As well as setting up the Blue Room, he has introduced classroom routines such as a morning handshake, and having pupils post their pictures along a "feelings meter" every day.

"I wasn't a meditator," he says. "I am entirely non-religious, non-anything. My whole focus was simply on embracing the things that would give children the best possible chance of reaching their potential."

But it is clear that in the Blue Room, with its cloud-painted ceiling, fish tank and fountain, pupils are given more than just a calm space in their busy week. "One of the things we talk about is, 'Is everything we think true? Is that person really horrible, or is there a bit of a fault that's coming up?'" Hogston says. Pupils are taught about the importance of living in the moment, and how to use visualisations to switch their brain to feeling alert and good about life.

Meditation is practised by millions, but still seen by many as weird and alternative. "Some people think it's a strange thing for a school to do," he acknowledges. "When we started training the teachers, about 60 per cent said, 'Great, we do this in yoga,' but 30 per cent said, 'Convince me.'" The school head, Julie Ritchie, stresses that the Blue Room is simply one part of the whole "caring and learning" ethos underpinning the school.

Parents have also been supportive, and some pupils love it so much that there is a popular weekly meditation club. "It is amazing to see children giving up things like football to come to the Blue Room to calm down and meditate," says Hogston.

Jonathan Peers, a Year Six teacher, says the programme gives children skills that are vital for school and life. "That ability to show empathy, to be able to look after yourself and your peers, is very important, and you can see the effect on them."

The Latchmere programme, says Hogston, is based on "common-sense meditation" and its pragmatic mix is very different from the structured transcendental meditation (TM) that David Lynch is promoting in schools.

But Dr Fred Travis, director of the Center for Brain, Consciousness and Cognition, at the Maharishi University of Management, Iowa, says there is strong evidence that TM relaxes and integrates the brain more than any other type of meditation. "With all other methods there is always some sort of striving or focusing, which means the brain is still active and busy. With TM the content of your brain is decreased but the awareness is maintained."

On a recent visit to the UK he spoke to staff and students at Cambridge University and the University of London's Institute of Education about how meditation can act as a buffer against stress, and produce brain activity read-outs that show that beneficial Alpha brain waves flow more strongly in someone practising TM than in meditators using other methods such as Zen meditation. He also wired up an experienced meditator with electrodes to show how the effect of TM on the brain can be marked and instant.

There is growing evidence that today's young people urgently need meditation's beneficial effects, he says. Slides of brain activity demonstrate how alcohol, drugs, stress, poverty and sleep deprivation change the brain so it has a diminished ability to reflect, remember and process. "Everything we do has an impact on the brain and will physically change it."

The David Lynch Foundation for Consciousness-Based Education and World Peace is aiming to teach a million schoolchildren to meditate, and heads of schools in the US who have introduced it says it makes students more settled and confident. In the UK a growing number of schools are showing an interest in meditation programmes, and a number of heads and teachers are publicly committed to TM.

At £320-a-head for every teacher and pupil, the TM programme is not cheap, however, although the Maharishi Foundation, which is offering the Consciousness-Based Education programme to UK schools, says this is because it is individually taught by trained meditation teachers.

It claims TM is effective with children suffering from attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, and can radically change the atmosphere in the toughest schools. But some critics assert that the Maharishi Mahesh Yogi made a multimillion-dollar fortune from packaging up a simple technique and selling it to gullible Westerners, and even today the image of TM remains irrevocably mixed with memories of the Beatles in their hippie days.

So while ideas about developing calmness and relaxation are now making headway in schools, it remains to be seen whether David Lynch's money will be able to persuade them that TM is the way to do it.

Omar Ong A Scholarship Defaulter?

It was revealed that Omar Ong is a repeated scholarship defaulter. His constant job changing has resulted in him defaulting on his loan agreement. He did not serve the required compulsory service time expected of scholars.

The comment revealed that legal proceeding has been undertaken and judgement was obtained in February 2003. A settlement was reached in May 2005 during his tenure at the DPM's office.

He rejoined Ethos in February 2006 resulting in him defaulting the deed of sttlement and is supposed to pay about RM120,000 to Petronas.

If there is any truth in the revelation, it certainly put the Petronas Board of Director in a difficult situation whether to approve or reject Omar's appointment.

Read further the comment reproduced below:

Mohd Omar Ong bin Mustapha Ong was a scholar of Petronas. He was offered scholarship in May 1989 to do A-level in the UK and to study in Oxford University. He has repeatedly defaulted from his obligation in the scholarship agreement with Petronas.

The revelation of Omar Ong’s appointment as a member of the Board of Director of Petronas will mean that the Board of Direcor have honoured a scholarship defaulter with this appointment.

Omar completed his study and graduated from Oxford with a Bachelor’s degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics. On February 16th, 1995 he joined Petronas as Executive. He later resigned and join Multimedia Development Corporation (MDC) on February 1st, 1997.

Omar was employed for nearly 2 years and at the time of resignation, had not fulfill his compulsory service. Petronas agreed to transfer the compulsory service to MDC being another Government Company..

His stinct with MDC lasted few months more than 3 years for he resigned on March 31, 2000. This is in breach of the scholarship agreement and he was informed by the Education Services Unit on June 2000.

Consequently, he was issued a Letter of Demand in January 2001 from the Legal Service Unit of Petronas. By September 2001, Lee, Hishamuddin & Co. was appointed to start proceeding against Omar. Judgement was obtained against Omar in February 2003.

After MDC, Omar joined McKinsey & Co, London, and operated in Kuala Lumpur. He later co-founded Ethos & Co. in February 2002.

In February 2004, he was appointed Special Officer 1 to the Deputy Prime Minister. A deed of settlement was signed in May 2005 and he was to serve the Government of Malaysia for an assigned period of 4 years 10 months. In the event of another breach of contract, he will be required to pay a settlement of RM120,000.

Omar resigned and rejoined Ethos & Co. in February 2006.

Appreciate you could publish this comment in your blog in order to get reactions from Omar Ong or Petronas to this revealed details.

This should serve to alert Najib that the man he agreed to be appointed as Director for Petronas is a Petronas Scholar who defaulted on his loan.

Najib's insistance on the Board of Director of Petronas to appoint Omar Ong will put them in a difficult position to breach their own internally long practised policies and will be expected to be given exception.

As another Petronas Scholar, I ask why should defaulter Omar be an exception?

Certainly, Omar's appointment will place the Board of Director in a Catch 22 situation.

If they reject his appointment, they will be deemed as opposing the PM's instruction. But if the approve his appointment, it will not be consistent with their policy not to retake former staff. They will confirm the appointment of a Petronas scholarship defaulter to the top management of Petronas i.e. Board of Director.

This will be a blemish on the reputation of Petronas Board of Director and the Company's policies. Will this be an example for other Petronas Scholars to emulate? All this for Omar. Is it worthy?

Cake On Head

ACT'S Mt Albert by-election candidate wore the brunt of his opponents' frustration with the proposed Auckland super-city when he was smeared with cake at a debate yesterday.

John Boscawen attended the hour-long Unitec debate alongside fellow candidates - Labour's David Shearer, National's Melissa Lee and Green Party co- leader Russel Norman.

As Mr Boscawen spoke of the virtues of changes to Auckland's local governance, People Before Profit by- election candidate and super-city opponent Malcolm France surged forward from the crowd and smeared his head with a slice of chocolate lamington cake, In Unison student magazine editor Stacey Knott said.

"It was pretty sudden. This guy just ran up and smeared cake on his [Boscawen's] head and then retreated back to the crowd and then, I think, security took him out."

Ms Lee, whose own campaign has been mired by a series of blunders, helped Mr Boscawen clean off the cake and the debate continued. "There was a bit of shock but he kept carrying on as usual. John Boscawen didn't really do anything he just continued his sentence," Miss Knott said.

Mr Boscawen said at first he thought it was a "wet squeegee" on his head. Not wanting to lose his allotted speaking time, he continued to talk.

Happy to donate cakes to anyone who wishes to place them on Zambry, Zahid Hamidi and Rais Yatim's hallow head.

Scholarship And Stolen Funds

Why is everybody talking about scholarship but doing nothing? Neither Ismail from JPA or Sidek, the Chief Secretary have the authority to help. They are just mere puppets string along for show.

I have a solution that will help all Malaysian citizen who wants to further their studies oversea or locally. But my offer was just a sniff in the air for people like Sidek who is afraid to meet me. My offer is for him to send his officers to meet and tape all conversation between us. So what is the problem? I did not ask for a position or any financial gain. Just giving a solution to the government to help the citizen of this country. The additional benefits to this solution is that all primary and secondary schools would have qualified and knowledgeable teachers. Not like the present half baked and yearly pregnant teachers.

During my daughter’s primary years, she had to endure five years of pregnant teachers who went on MCs for three months yearly, excluding those who attend courses after courses. Did my daughter learn anything educational when there is hardly any substitute teachers? You think we want to send our children to school if they are already super intelligent.

What MCA is trying to do, is insufficient? We need more funds too. The government must be sincere and committed in solving these 2 issues without favour by bringing back money that was stolen from us. Daim is worth 48 billion, Shahidan 5 billion, Mahathir 25 billion, Pak Lah 2.5 billion, Vincent Tan 10 billion and Francis Yeoh 8 billion. All the government has to do is force them to return 50% of their worth. Vincent Tan and Francis Yeoh are trustees for UMNO’s money, so why is it so difficult to get back the funds? Does the money have to be diverted into Daim and Mahathir’s personal account and for how long more? There are many questions and queries that Daim and Mahathir must be made accountable for.

Some Royalties are buying run down buildings in Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Mecca and are renovating it with unlimited funds. Once completed, these buildings can only be sold at a loss as the purchase price US100 million and renovation cost US100 million had exceeded the market value. One must not forget the middle men get close to US10 million per building as commission.

All these billion Ringgit can be distributed fairly to all 23 million Malaysian Citizen. What a FANTASY?

Hamidi Are You Serious?

Muslim Extremist with a Phd from pasar malam

First we have that dumb bell Zambry and now Hamidi. I could not believe my ears when Hamidi said on the news that “ONLY MUSLIM CAN FAST, THESE PEOPLE ARRESTED TODAY IN IPOH HAD NO RIGHT. EVEN IN THE QURAN, IT IS SAID ONLY MUSLIM ARE ALLOWED TO FAST.”

For your information Catholics have been fasting far more years than the Muslim and they even abstain from meat during the fasting month. Ask any Christians, I am sure they can give you more information about fasting during Good Friday and Ash Wednesday.

My good friend a Buddhist had been fasting three days in every month for the past 31 years. She did that since she had a dream from Buddha telling her that she should be aware of the suffering around her.

So what you are saying in your high and mighty wisdom and knowledgeable reading of the Quran, that you are right to assume only Muslim can fast. It is Muslim like you that make us puke.

Hurricane Zambrian Fury In Ipoh

Hurricane Zambrian run rampage and arrested 14 people after the launch of a three-day hunger strike in Ipoh today.

Apparently Hurricane Zambrian who was lawfully elected by the Court of Appeal as the MB for Perak had issue a new law that no-one absolutely no-one is allowed to wear black, hold a vigil or even go on hunger strike.

Kindly note that all Perakian must assure that their family members do not die during this tiring period. To die is against the law; to wear black for moaning is against the law and to hold a vigil during moaning period is also against the law.

We hereby noted with pleasure that if the Sultan were to die today, please do not moan for his death, do not use black and do not have any gathering especially in the Palace compound.

Prince William Finally Gets Marry

THE BBC has inadvertently sparked a royal wedding frenzy in Britain after plans for its Prince William "wedding special" broadcast were leaked.

The national broadcaster has for the past few weeks been producing a special on the couple's courtship, charting the romance from when Prince William, the second in line to the throne, met his girlfriend Kate Middleton.

The program, tentatively titled Their Story, is expected to be shown on the night of their announced engagement, The Herald Sun reports.

An executive from the broadcaster was overheard to brag in public that in recessionary times, the public paid-for program would not be produced if the corporation had not been given a wink and a nod.

"Believe me, in these straightened times we would not be spending money on this programme if we had not been assured that they were definitely going to get engaged," the senior executive said.

A spokesman for Clarence House, Prince William's mouthpiece, declined to comment but added it was aware of the program.

BBC has issued a statement saying it prepared for all "different eventualities" although could name any other than the Prince William special.

"The relationship is an area that our viewers are very interested in," is all a spokesman would say on whether the broadcaster had received a particular tip off about a summer announcement

Aminah, Oh Aminah

If PKR had tried to bribe you, do the smart think and accept. Then you go to UMNO, better still Najib and get RM25 million like prostitute Hee HAAAAAAAAAA.

Aminah this is the best time to become millionaire. Play your cards well. Do not accept anything lower otherwise people say you are a cheap malay prostitute like Sinful.

Best of Luck and by the way are you a Muslim by name only like Vincent Tan.

Bernas Scam

Retailers face customers’ anger.
Mystery of missing rice.
RM180 million rice riddle

The rice supply chain is broken and it’s hurting the lower-income homes. It is an underhanded tactic that benefits only a few, for even the rice farmers are complaining that they are struggling to get a decent income from their efforts in the padi fields. It goes on with Consumer Association of Subang and Shah Alam, Selangor (CASSA) president Jacob George saying that the association had repeatedly suggested that the government set up an audit committee comprising members from ministries related to consumer products to monitor the supply chain of the government’s subsided products. However, this suggestion has not been taken up.

Interesting to note that the four major Shareholders namely Shahidan, Mahathir, Daim and Pak Lah are the screwers who benefitted from Bernas yearly profit of well over RM100 million. Absolutely no-one dare to make them accountable for the disgrace our rice bowl had been handled. Rice is our stable food. It is a necessity for the people. But these four shareholders do not care. They think they can suck this country dry so that they can maintain their private jets and oversea homes with what rightly belong to us.

The trouble with this country is because we have a murderer as a Leader and a bunch of pondans who goes around sucking cunts.

Padibernas Nasional Berhad (Bernas) refuse to comment on today’s news.

Khir, Follow The Example of Roh

Khir Toyo, entourage went on RM1.7mil holiday when MB

Former South Korean President Roh Moo-hyun jumped to his death yesterday while hiking in the mountains behind his rural home.

After leaving his family a suicide note, he threw himself off a 100ft cliff known as Owl's Rock.

Suicide: Former South Korea President Roh Moo-hyun is believed to have jumped to his death in the mountains near his home

'I'm indebted to too many people. Too many people are suffering because of me,' 62-year-old Roh wrote in the note left on his computer.

'Don't be sorry. Don't blame anybody. It's destiny.'

Lamentable and deeply sad: South Korea President Lee Myung-bak

A self-taught lawyer who lifted himself out of poverty to reach the nation's highest office in 2003, Roh had prided himself on being a clean politician in a country with a long history of corruption.

His hard-won reputation as a corruption-fighter was tarnished by allegations that he accepted 3.7million pounds in bribes from a Korean businessman.

He had acknowledged that local shoe manufacturer Park Yeon-cha gave money to his wife but suggested it was not a bribe. He also knew of a payment to another relative but said he thought it was an investment.

Prosecutors suspect the 3.7million pounds found its way to Roh.

His suicide stunned the nation. Supporters flooded his website with condolences. President Lee Myung-bak said Roh's 'sad and tragic' death was 'truly hard to believe'.

Nazri The Fucker

Your fucking had been on the net for sometime now, why the big silent?

The increase of bus fare is another suck method of yours to please the operators. I thought fucker like you have some kind of legal qualification to know how to use the brain. Obviously Pak Lah then and now Najib must be treating you so well that your brain got suck by prostitute Hee HAAAAAAAAAA.

Listen you punk, you know, I know and the people know you are useless. So can you just kill yourselves and let a suitable person solve the increasing frustration the people are facing with our corrupted transport system.

You dare to increase transport fare and we bring UMNO down for good.

Honestly Zambry, Are You That Naïve?

One in a while people like Zambry must show us how dumb and stupid Umno members are.

Zambry you may have won in the Appeal Case, but honestly do you think the people are in support for you. Everyone in the street is just waiting for the right day to chop your head off. You are a puke that people shit on, nothing more.

Nizar will now go for another fight in the Federal Court which he will lose too. But let me simply put this forward to remind you, that we, the people will use the same method to whack and get rid of Najib. Then we will see what happens to you. People like you are bad loser. So it will come as no surprise if you choose to commit suicide to cover your shame.

Enjoy your time as MB for Perak and make sure you grab as much as you can get.

Met the investigating officer today. Position is serious for RB. The 3 are highly implicated. RB's case can be fought. There are redeeming features for him. But we need to meet Dato Seri as there are other looming issues at large. But not to worry. Salam > Shafee

S2N

Date: 9/11/2006 13:11:23

3 things can happen. Firstly, they can ask for more time for detention. We will resist. Second, they have to release him by Friday or thirdly charge him by Friday. Police took him to his office for document search. Nothing incriminating found. Now they are recording stmt from him. Later search in house. Under control so far Dato Seri. Salam, shafee

Any news about RB ?

S2N

Date: 10/11/2006 15:19:40

Dato Seri, Negotiating for conditional release. If not police need 2 or 3 more days extention. I suspect its an exercise in public relation as they do not want public to think a VIP was given an easier time. Being a vip under these conditions is a liability. Otherwise we are on track according to plan. Salam, Shafee

N2S

Date: 10/11/2006 15:27:01

Thanks, he is very stressful according to his wife n would be a huge help if he could get a conditional release latest by sun.

N2S

Dato Seri, I was at ghkl ccu 4th floor.RB was admitted due to lung infection:mild pneumonia and asthmatic. This was the pain he was suffering in the chest and unexplained coughing for months. He is under an able physician Dato Dr Jeyaindran Sinnadurai(head of Dept of Medicine)Its good he is resting there than in the lockup. Dna was done to eliminate that he was at scene of crime (paternity can be ruled out as well).Need to see Dato Seri on some concerns. Salam. Shafee

N2S

Date: 11/11/2006 08:54:17

ANy chance of a release by sun ?

S2N

Date: 11/11/2006 08:58:14

Police should release him by then except that I think the police is disturbeb by Media and public pressure. Other factors need be coomunicated to Dato Seri in person. Investigation wise we are on track for release.

S2N

Date: 11/11/2006 09:26:52

It is clear that the Police will ask for extention t'row. I will resist strongly in view of the fact that the last few days investigation on RB have completed investigations that require RB's presence in custody. Secondly, from yesterday the Police has done nothing much with him except to do the dna. Thirdly, I am concerned with the Police carelessness yesterday in allowing the 3 other suspects to be freely mixing and therefore tainting their subsequent stmnts as they could be 'group coached'. But it also show Police no longer need to isolate the suspects. Even RB was handcuffed to the C/I. Salam. Shafee

Dato Seri, Its important you speak to Yusoff Zainal Abidin as he knows the law a lot better in the Chambers. I am confident he is concerned with the negligible evidence agst Razak. Sextuplets delivered in five minutes

A mother gave birth to sextuplets in just five minutes today. The babies - four girls and two boys - weighed between 1lb 7oz and 2lb 2oz and doctors confirmed they were not conceived through IVF.

Their condition in intensive care tonight was described as "as good as could be expected".

Today's successful Caesarean section birth - which involved 30 medical staff - was 14 weeks early.

It is believed to be the first case of sextuplets in Northern Ireland.

Neonatal consultant Dr Clifford Mayes said: "This is both a happy time and a potentially difficult time.

"This pregnancy isn't the result of IVF. It is an extraordinary thing to have witnessed but you are also struck by the fact that there are little babies in intensive care.

"We have planned very carefully for today and today went as well as we had hoped it would.

"The care of the babies would be the care we would normally expect for any baby."

The birth of sextuplets is rare, occurring in about one out of 4.5 million pregnancies.

Midwifery sister Patricia Denvir was the lead midwife involved in today's operation.

"It is a very stressful situation both for our staff, all of the staff involved and also for the parents, but it's a situation that went very well," she said.

"The mother was very composed - under a very stressful situation, both parents were very composed and they dealt with it very well.

"It is a very emotional time but it's also very stressful for all concerned."

Dr Mayes said it would be impossible for a woman to go full term with six babies.

In December 2002 Rhonda and Noel Loughran, from Cabragh, Co Tyrone, became parents to only the 12th set of natural quintuplets to be born worldwide since records began.

The proportion of multiple births has increased by 20% in the last decade, figures for England and Wales show.

The most famous sextuplets in the UK are the Waltons, all girls, who were born in Liverpool in 1983.

Chief executive of the Twins and Multiple Births Association (Tamba) Keith Reed said: "This is wonderful news."

And while he said multiple births could present many difficulties for health professionals and for the parents, he said the experience can also be rewarding for the families involved.

"Around half of the 11,000 multiple births each year are premature, resulting in one or more of their babies being cared for in a neonatal intensive care unit so our families understand the rollercoaster of emotions this family will be on," he said.

The sextuplets' parents have requested the family's privacy is respected.

UK Girl, 8, has ovarian cancer

An eight-year-old girl was undergoing treatment today for ovarian cancer - a disease which normally affects much older women.

Sophie Fry is having the gruelling treatment for the disease as relatives and supporters launch a fundraising campaign.

She is believed to be one of the youngest girls in the country to be fighting ovarian cancer.

The youngster, from Driffield, East Yorks, was taken to Scarborough Hospital earlier this year with abdominal pains.

Mum Heidi, 33 and Gavin, 32, were later told an ultrasound had revealed their daughter had a tumour.

The youngster has since undergone a major operation at St James's Hospital in Leeds, West Yorks, where she is now undergoing further treatment.

Relatives and supporters launched the fundraising campaign for the hospital unit caring for her and to help pay for a holiday.

Sophie's parents were unable to comment about their daughter today.

Professor Hani Gabra, director of the Ovarian Cancer Action Research Centre, said: "Cancers found in the ovaries of young children, called ovarian germ cell tumours, are a quite distinct disease from adult ovarian cancer, which most commonly affects women aged 50 and over.

"Germ cell tumours in children are thankfully rare and treatment is usually effective, with more than four out of five children who develop the disease surviving.

"Nonetheless, this will naturally be an extremely worrying time for the child affected and their family, and our thoughts are with them.

"Very little is currently understood about the causes of ovarian cancer, which is why more investment in researching the disease is vital."

In March, Paige Brown became the youngest girl in the UK to beat ovarian cancer.

She was only nine when she was diagnosed with the disease. She is now leading a normal life.

As A Mum

I read RPK apology to the public many times over and each time I tell myself not to say my piece but cannot help it.

Many people have different opinion on this but let me share my experience. I have five children between the ages of 14 – 25. My children are all strong-headed and good hearted. They are not super intelligent but I like to show off when they bring home trophies and certificates for their studies and activities. Honestly which mum would not do that?

I choose to be a homemaker through personal choice and background. It was not easy. I had no elders to seek for advice and help. My first born was like a guinea pig, going through fail and adjusted experiments. From making his milk, changing of diaper and even stupid enough to listen to some friends who told me to add in nestum into his milk when he was only just two weeks old. Eventually I became an expert on managing and can do things with my eyes close. The crying and attention seeking did not even bother me any longer.

One day in 1992 my son and three others including neither here nor there Muslim convert Vincent Tan’s nephew was molested by their class teacher Nora Zam Zam in Sri Kuala Lumpur. The case was brought into public attention when Nora Zam Zam turn the event into a racial issue and Othman Merican (sex addict because he screws his school clerk in his office daily, while his wife is checking the school compound) the owner of the school tried to cover the case. Nora and the school sued me for defamation and I lost. Till today the judgment had not been written, files and record missing and my appeal case is still hanging in the air. The judge had already retired. This is how powerful money works.

It was a sad and rather bitter experience for me. I felt betrayed by an institution that was supposed to educate but instead had my son masturbated by a Muslim woman.

It was this incident that makes me more protective of my children. This brought about another ugly event. My son kept his disappointment to himself when he failed to achieve the necessary grade in form six to enter University. He lost confidence and started to rebel on every proposal suggested by me. We came to a point of not able to communicate with each other and even fought physically at the slightest provocation. One day he just packed up and left. He left a note to apology for the hurt he had cause me and said that he really do love us all but I did not give him the chance to grow and be himself. Unlike most parents I was lucky that some good Samaritans taxi drivers from puduraya talked my son out of running away and brought him home. Till today I can still feel the pain and regrets of that event though my son was only gone for 12 hours.

I have mellowed much and now quite often I have to remind myself to listen more and to open my eyes widen when it comes to my children. Every child rich or poor goes through a transition period. As parents we must accept and try to listen and understand them. In the heat of an argument words and action can damage relationship. There is no correct answer and solution to every family problem. But I make sure my door remain open to them. To make a child is easy but to bring them up is challenging. The bond of a mother and child can only be broken through death not by words or action. A father can never feel that special link because he never had a child growing inside his body.

Marina and Pet, if situation permits, go and visit him. Show him the entrance to love again. I might be wrong but what I saw in his eyes tell me he needs your love and support more than ever.

Take Care.

14yrs old Boy kills Father

A HEAVILY-shackled 14-year-old boy, who is suspected of being abused, has appeared in court accused of shooting his sleeping father dead with a high-powered rifle.
US teenager Zachary Neagle, a middle school student from Caldwell, Idaho, is being held in an adult prison after being charged with first degree murder, the Idaho Press-Tribune reports.

His father, 33-year-old Jason Neagle, was found dead at the family home on Saturday.

A single bullet is believed to have pierced through his wrist and into his head.

During his first court appearance since his arrest on Tuesday, the teenager sat silently as a judge read out the accusation that he had shot his father with a high-powered rifle as he slept on a couch.

Zachary did not speak during the hearing. He sat in the courtroom with shackles attached to his hands and torso, and was wearing a prison uniform.

Canyon County Prosecutor John Bujak said a possible motive had been identified, but would not reveal any details.

The Press-Tribune reported that a family member had suspected that the dead man was abusing his son.

Caldwell detective Bill Crawford told reporters that Zachary had told officers on Tuesday that his father "had not done anything to him for a while", but did not elaborate.

The teenager will face court again in two weeks, and his bail has been set at US$300,000.

Too much cola 'leads to muscle and heart problems'

Experts have issued a warning against drinking large quantities of cola, saying it could lead to muscle problems, an irregular heartbeat and bone weakness.

The number of cola-lovers suffering health issues is on the rise, they said, adding there had been a food industry push towards an “increase in portion sizes”.

As well as tooth decay, diabetes and “softening” of the bones, doctors have seen patients suffering from hypokalaemia — where potassium levels in the blood drop too low.

This can increase the risk of muscle problems and heart rhythm abnormalities, which could prove fatal in some cases.

“We are consuming more soft drinks than ever before and a number of health issues have already been identified including tooth problems, bone demineralisation and the development of metabolic syndrome and diabetes,” said Dr Moses Elisaf from the University of Ioannina in Greece, who led an academic review of the issue.

“Evidence is increasing to suggest that excessive cola consumption can also lead to hypokalaemia, in which the blood potassium levels fall, causing an adverse effect on vital muscle functions.”

His study, published in the International Journal of Clinical Practice, detailed cases where patients drank two or more litres of cola a day.

In one case a 21-year-old pregnant woman was admitted to the hospital suffering tiredness, loss of appetite and repeated vomiting.

The patient had consumed more than three litres of cola per day for the previous six years and was found to be suffering from severe hypokalaemia and a heart blockage.

Once she was taken off cola and given potassium replacement substances she made a full recovery.

Other case studies of people drinking between two and nine litres of cola a day found they suffered muscle problems ranging from “mild weakness to profound paralysis”.

Dr Elisaf said that caffeine intoxication is thought to play the most important role in the cases.

Nurse, the Black & Decker..........

A country GP in small-town Australia saved a boy's life by using a household power drill to bore into his skull after he fell off his bicycle and suffered a serious head injury. Nick Rossi, 12, was brought to the local hospital in Maryborough, Victoria, by his parents, after he complained of a headache.

Rob Carson, who was on duty, quickly realised the boy had potentially fatal bleeding on the brain. With no neurological instruments available in the small hospital, he sent for a handyman's drill from the maintenance room.

A neurosurgeon in Melbourne then talked Dr Carson through the procedure by telephone. Dr Carson told Nick's parents, who were waiting anxiously: "I've got one shot at this, and one shot only. I'm going to drill into Nick's head and try to relieve the pressure [on the brain]." Afterwards he told the boy's father, Michael Rossi, that all he could remember saying at the time was "Get the Black & Decker".

In the event, it turned out to be a |De Walt drill that Dr Carson used to bore into Nick's skull and release a blood clot. David Tynan, the anaesthetist who was tasked with overseeing events in the hospital's emergency room, said yesterday: "It was pretty scary. You obviously worry, are you pushing hard enough or pushing too hard, but then when some blood came out after we'd gone through the skull, we realised we'd made the right decision."

The injury was similar to the one suffered by the actress Natasha Richardson, who died in March after failing to get immediate medical attention following a fall on a Canadian ski slope.

Nick Rossi, who has since made a full recovery, fell off his bicycle last Friday while riding without a helmet in a quiet road near a friend's house. He hit his head on the pavement and passed out briefly, but then seemed fine.

However, his mother, Karen, a nurse, decided to take him to hospital after discovering a lump behind his ear. Once in hospital, the boy began to deteriorate, suffering breathing difficulties and drifting in and out of consciousness. Dr Carson noticed that one of his pupils was bigger than the other, a tell-tale sign of a bloodclot, and realised he had only minutes to make a hole in his skull and relieve the pressure on his brain. The neurosurgeon, David Wallace, explained to him where to aim the drill and how deep to go.

"All of a sudden the emergency ward was turned into an operating theatre," Mr Rossi told local radio yesterday. "We didn't see anything, but we heard the noises, heard the drill. It was just one of those surreal experiences."

The procedure took just over a minute, after which Nick was airlifted to a children's hospital in Melbourne, 100 miles away. He was discharged on Tuesday, his 13th birthday.

Dr Carson remained modest about his role in the procedure. He told The Australian newspaper: "If you are in that situation, you just do those things. It is just part of the job and I had a very good team of people helping me."

But Dr Wallace, the neurosurgeon, said it had taken incredible guts and skill. "He later told me that what Dr Carson did was extremely brave," Mr Rossi said. "To have done that with a household drill ? he said it was unbelievable." Nick's father added: "He saved our son's life."

In a short break after delivering a baby yesterday, Dr Carson told local radio: "The actual procedure itself was not as terrifying as the possible outcome if I didn't do it."

He agreed that it was probably "one of the highlights" of his career in country hospitals.

Working longer delays Alzheimer's disease

LIFTING of the retirement age to 67 years might be unpopular, but research shows working it may help stave off Alzheimer's disease.
Scientists who studied 382 men with early indications of Alzheimer's found a significant link between later retirement age and delayed dementia symptoms. The research by the Institute of Psychiatry at King's College in London found working helped the mind and body remain active.

Working longer may not only exercise the brain but also save the public purse, as the ageing population and increase in incidence of conditions like dementia demand higher levels of funding for care and homes.

Head of research at the UK Alzheimer's Society Dr Susanne Sorensen said the report made sense.

"There could be a number of reasons why later retirement in men is linked with later onset of dementia," she said.

"Men who retire early often do so because of health conditions, such as hypertension (high blood pressure) or diabetes, which increase your risk of dementia.

"It could also be that working helps keep your mind and body active, which may reduce risk of dementia.

"The best way to reduce your risk of dementia is to combine keeping physically active with eating a balanced diet and getting your blood pressure and cholesterol checked regularly.

"One million people will develop dementia in the next 10 years. Investing in research into how to prevent dementia is vital if we are to defeat this devastating condition."

Schoolboy Alfie not father of baby after all

Schoolboy Alfie Patten, who made headlines earlier this year when it was reported he had got his girlfriend pregnant when aged just 12, is not the baby's father after all, the Sun said Tuesday.

In February, media said Patten's 15-year-old girlfriend Chantelle Stedman had fallen pregnant after a night of unprotected sex, possibly making Patten Britain's youngest father when she gave birth to daughter Maisie.

"I thought it would be good to have a baby. I didn't think about how we would afford it," he told the Sun at the time.

"I don't really get pocket money. My dad sometimes gives me 10 pounds."

But after the story was reported, other boys came forward to say they had had sex with Stedman.

The Sun said DNA tests had now revealed that Patten was not the baby's father. Instead Maisie is the daughter of another schoolboy, Tyler Barker, who was 14 at the time Stedman conceived.

The results were revealed after a judge lifted a court injunction and said Patten was "extremely distressed" at the news.

A Life In the Day: Sex Worker

I wake up around 5am so I can use the toilet early, while it’s still quiet.

I share it with nine other households. Each has one room about 8ft square. Although Chow Kit Road is a red-light district, families live here too, street vendors and stall workers, but most prostitutes live alone like me.

My room doesn’t smell so good because it’s next to rotting rubbish and the toilet, but it is away from the street.

I go back to sleep until 8 am. My bed is a thin mattress on a board lifted off the ground by red bricks at each corner. Under the bed are the pots I use for cooking and washing.

My dress and underclothes are strung on a wire across the small window. I have electricity, a light bulb, a fan, a black-and-white television and a suitcase.

If I’m on my own, as I mostly am, I make tea, heating the water on a kerosene stove in my doorway. If my honey — he’s like a special client, a temporary husband, you could say — is with me, I give him nasi lemak.

Then I go to the vegetable stalls outside and buy ladies’ fingers, brinjal, potatoes, tomatoes and garlic to cook later.

I put on eyeliner, powder my face, my jewelled earrings and gold bangles, and I am working the street by 10am. There are three of us who mostly go together — Alice, my best friend, and I watch for each other. I work a little strip just outside the slum beside the Mosque.

There is a disused pitch and that’s where I go with my clients. Mostly they are strangers, taxi drivers or hawkers.

Chow Kit is the cheapest red-light district, but I have to work here because I’m old now. I need to make RM50 a day; my rent is RM12 a day and I am paying off a loan to my landlord for hospital treatment. My clients don’t have much money — maybe I get RM15 a time. I try to make them wear a condom but mostly they don’t. I have been very lucky: I don’t think I have any sexual diseases. There is no free clinic around here.

When I was young I worked in Jalan Alor. I would go with men on big cars. Then I would have 10 or 12 clients a day easily, shopkeepers or truck drivers, and each would pay me RM250.

My own family in Parit Buntar has no idea if I am alive or dead. I grew up in a small village with three older brothers and a baby sister.

I was trafficked here when I was 14 by a man who married me. His real wife and children were here in Kuala Lumpur, and he brought me here. He sold me to a brothel. I was terrified, but he was my husband and I thought I had to do what he said. I did not have the guts to tell my family what had happened to me, so I never contacted them again.

If I‘m lucky I finish around 12.30am. There is a lot of waiting around now, so we drink beer. I drink it quite a lot — it helps. If I have made enough money I go home with Alice, and maybe we go to my room or her room and share some food. But if business is slow I stay out all night.

Even if I finish early, I can’t sleep until 2 in the morning. I worry about so many things. I have had six pregnancies, but I only have one child, Sheila. She’s 14 now and she lives in a girls’ home run by the Shelter Home. I visit her on the last Saturday of every month. I tell her I sweep in a hospital, and I wish I did, but no one would employ me now. She lived with me until she was seven.

She didn’t go to school and I couldn’t really look after her, but I didn’t bring men back to the room with her there. Then Shelter Home found her on the street. I wanted them to take her. If my daughter was to take up this trade, I would want to die. No mother can imagine such a thing as this. But she would have had no choice if she’d stayed here.

At night I think of my parents and my daughter. I think of what would happen to her if I died suddenly. I worry about how I got myself into this situation and what will happen to me in the future when I cannot make money any more. Around 2am I fall asleep, and then I don’t dream.

IGP Tells Bar To Do Soul-Searching

IGP Musa Hasan told the Bar Council to do some soul-searching before questioning the arrest of the five lawyers on May 7. First, we should ask these questions, are lawyers above the law? Are they immune from actions if they commit an offence? If they commit an offence, can it be said that they were trying to carry out their professional duties and responsibilities?

IGP, can you answer whether Rosmah is above the law? Was Colonel Azmi lying when he told Tengku Razaleigh and Raja Petra that Rosmah was presence when Altantuya was C4? So was Rosmah carrying out her professional duties and responsibilities as a killer?

You are very silent when it comes to a crime committed by the Prime Minister’s wife. As the Head of the Police Force you are trying to tell us it is okay for Rosmah to murder an innocent foreign guest. So is it not true you support and welcome Rosmah to continue murdering anyone she fancies like maybe your wife?

Should it not be you who must do some soul-searching why you fail to do your duty as the Head of the Police Force? Or is it because you are going to retire soon and could not be bothered?

Najib Not Accepting Reality

The meaning of Legacy 1. something left in a will by someone who has died.
2. something left behind by the person who previously had one’s job or past experiences.

It is sad that an intelligent and educated oversea immature man like Najib to be ignorant and naïve to come out with a statement that Pakatan not accepting reality. Perak never voted for BN. You grab it thinking it was yours. You now tell Pakatan Rakyat to keep on dreaming of a dissolution of the Perak state assembly. But you forget we the people will teach you a better lesson when the time comes, that is if God does not do us the favour first. But then people like you, do not know or believe in God.

Talking about the spirit of democracy, we the people never wanted you as the Prime Minister. Remember we signed a petition to the King not to appoint you. But like Mahathir keep reminding us, Malay like you forgets easily.

Let us confirm your speech stated in NST on the 16th May 2009, page 2 on Prime News - “PR has lost the majority…we are using the same principle…. It is not undemocratic or unconstitutional (to take over the Perak state government). Remember it well for you will soon eat your words. We will use that in Parliament to kick your ass and BN.

The mentioned of Sept 16 2008 takeover by Anwar that made you wet your pant. Kindly describe how it was done. Honestly you had mentioned countless times about 1Malaysia since taking over as Prime Minister but you continue to use Ketuanan Melayu especially in Perak. So who is a better liar?

On 21st May you will misuse your position again like the way you did when you got Shafee the sex maniac to kow tim the Razak your sex buddy case and Pa TAIL fella on the murder of Altantuya committed by Rosie your wife or whatever you call her. You see there are no secrets in this world especially when it comes to you. Remember also Mahathir can always pretend to lose that file he collected from Special Branch.

Escape Poverty

Bamboo may prove to be more than the food staple for the giant panda. Considered to be the world's fastest-growing woody plant, it could be a key component in lifting thousands of people in the developing world out of poverty.

Hong Kong skyscrapers are often covered in bamboo scaffolding, but can the plant be as well used in construction and high-end products?

According to the International Network for Bamboo and Rattan (INBAR), as many as 1.5 billion people currently "depend in some way on bamboo and rattan," and several organizations are now investigating how growing bamboo in economically deprived areas can boost the income of the residents, particularly small-scale farmers.

One of them is Hanoi, Vietnam-based Prosperity Initiative (PI). Many people can escape poverty by increasing bamboo production in rural areas and by linking local communities with domestic and foreign buyers, the non-governmental organization believes.

PI aims to bolster the Mekong region's bamboo industry sufficiently enough to bring 750,000 people out of poverty by 2020. It sounds a tall order, but Tim de Mestre, head of Prosperity Initiative's Mekong bamboo program, believes it is "both realistic and achievable."

"Income poverty can only be solved by sustainably increasing household incomes," de Mestre said. "The poor have two assets they can use to do this: their land, to grow commodities, and their labor."

China currently produces 80 percent of the world's bamboo and consumes 60 percent of it, according to PI. Smaller and poorer bamboo-producing countries such as Vietnam are in a prime position to "out-compete China" by supplying industries with raw materials at lower prices, De Mestre said.

But why would growing bamboo increase income levels any more than any other type of crop? Its advantage, proponents say, is its versatility and how quickly it can grow.

Bamboo is a genuinely renewable resource which grows extremely fast, is incredibly strong and has a vast number of practical uses -- particularly in the building industry.

Around 1 billion people live in bamboo houses, according to INBAR. Deforestation of tropical forests and illegal logging will also make people search for more sustainable alternatives in the future, such as bamboo.

PI's strategy is to refocus the bamboo industry on "higher-value products": That is, to concentrate on producing larger items, such as flooring, furniture or building materials.

Such a tactic could drive up the value of bamboo in Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia, benefiting small-bamboo farmers, as well as those finding employment in the bamboo production industry.

PI says its model is already working in Vietnam, and claims bamboo price increases from 2005-2007 have already been responsible for lifting 20,000 Vietnamese out of poverty. The price of Chinese bamboo has also been boosted in recent months by the strengthening yuan.

News like that will be welcome for poor bamboo farmers as the numbers for industrial bamboo products such as flooring are particularly appealing for them, de Mestre said.

"Typically 60 percent of the sector's output value is raw material cost."

That means for every $1 million worth of bamboo products produced, $600,000 of it goes to the farmers growing the raw bamboo, he said.

The global bamboo industry is currently worth around $11 billion per year and is tipped to reach $15-$20 billion per year by 2018, according to PI. The market for industrial bamboo products is currently only valued at around $500 million a year, but PI estimates it could grow to $4 -5 billion in the next 10 years.

For the bamboo industry to thrive, however, it needs to find large export markets.

Currently, demand for Vietnamese bamboo products is domestic-driven. That may take some time, said Darrel DeBoer, a California-based architect who is one of the biggest proponents of bamboo usage in buildings and structures in the United States.

"It's definitely a different way of thinking than most people are accustomed to here," DeBoer said. From an environmental-friendly perspective, bamboo homes are attractive, said DeBoer, but not enough people in the United States are aware of the option.

"The building industry is very slow to change and you kind of have to drag them along," he said. "We are at the very early phase of basically letting people know that it is possible."

For Travis Perkins, one of the biggest building suppliers in Great Britain, heavy duty bamboo product development is being prevented by a lack of demand it sees in the marketplace.

According to Peter Cook, the company's timber and joinery product director, its product development has been "confined to engineered flooring," which Cook says is "quite widely available."

"But there has been little demand for it to be put forward as an alternative to any other timber products for use in construction," Cook said.

Bamboo also has an image problem, DeBoer acknowledged. Even in bamboo-growing nations such as China and India, bamboo is often widely referred seen as the "poor man's timber."

Often the wrong kind of bamboo is used for buildings, just because it is a local and abundant source. Widespread industry demand for ethical products will be crucial to supporting the bamboo industry, de Mestre said.

What he wants to see is "a coordinated shift from the buyer down to farmers toward demanding only sustainably harvested and even pro-poor bamboo products."

"This requires coordinated action that is not easy to achieve, but without it, the industry risks growing unsustainably and the benefits to everyone involved will be lost in the future," de Mestre said.

Man tried to hire prostitute for his son, 14

A man who tried to hire a prostitute to take his 14-year-old son's virginity as a present was spared jail by a court on Friday.

The Polish national took the boy out in his car and allowed him to pick out the prostitute, who was standing at the side of the road in the red-light district of Nottingham.

But the 42-year-old father was arrested because the teenager had chosen an undercover police officer, Nottingham Crown Court heard.

The man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was handed a 10-month prison sentence, suspended for a year, after he admitted a charge of trying to solicit a woman to have sex with a child, the Press Association reported.

The court heard that the father, who came to Britain eight years ago, was arrested last July during an undercover operation by the city's vice squad.

Prosecutor Adrian Harris said the man and his son had approached the undercover officer whose code name was Sarah and beckoned her over .

He asked "Sarah" how much it would cost for her to have sex with his son and they agreed on a 20 pound fee. However, when the car pulled over, the man was arrested by plainclothes police officers.

"The boy said that they had driven past the girl and his dad pointed to her and said 'will she do?'" Harris said.

"He said 'yes' and they had turned round. He said his dad did this because he was still a virgin and he was taking care of that for him."

Judge Jonathan Teare said he would spare the father jail because of his excellent character and that he believed he did not mean any harm to his son.

"You have a duty of care to your son and that is to look after his moral welfare, not as you might think to break him in to the ways of sex through a prostitute," he said.

The court was told the boy would continue to live with his father.

To all parents who wants a prostitute for their sons can contact our Malaysian prostitute from Jelapang. Sugar Daddy Vincent Tan had already paid her RM25 million in advance for her service for life. She is currently under the cover of Najib with legs wide open.

The Founder Of Mat Rempit

Sulaiman Mohamed was the MP for Titiwangsa back in the early 1980s. When he was the MP, he recruited many dropped out Malays. These youths were given free food and lodging and Sulaiman provided them with bikes confiscated by the police to do his errands. At first the errands were nothing serious until he became ambitious and greedy. He would assign his boys to collect money from the traders in the markets and pasar malam. He would then give them a percentage to share among themselves and kept the rest to himself.

Things turn ugly when the folks in Kg Pandan/Desa Pandan had to be relocated. Sulaiman was brazen and instructed his boys to threaten and even burn the houses and cars of the stubborn ones who refused to move. When police reports were made, the police did not dare to intervene when told that they were Sulaiman’s boys.

When Astaman Abdul Aziz took over from Sulaiman as MP, he did not want to have anything to do with the boys. Astaman found the boys to be unruly and crude. Astaman knew he could not control them and was afraid too. That was the downfall of Astaman.

The boys now have no-one to provide them with free food, lodging and allowances but they have the bikes. So that was the beginning of Mat Rempit.
