Tycoon rape own grandchild and others

KUALA LUMPUR: A wealthy businessman is under investigation for allegedly raping his 10-year-old granddaughter over the past two years.

The 75-year-old man is also suspected of being a serial paedophile and police are tracing other possible victims. The man’s act came to light when the girl was admitted to a private hospital here early this month for appendicitis.
She was warded after surgery and, while recuperating, doctors and nurses who cared for her told her that her grandfather would be visiting her. She became distressed and started throwing tantrums. Suspecting something amiss, a doctor interviewed the girl. It was then that she told the doctor she had been sexually abused by her grandfather for the past two years whenever she was left by her mother in a luxury apartment where he lived. The doctor lodged a report at the Pantai police station. Initially, the girl’s mother was upset over
the report, but relented when told by the hospital authorities that it was a standard operating procedure in child abuse cases.
Investigators, who interviewed the girl, were told that the man kept  pictures of him abusing her.

A police team then raided the apartment before arresting the man. Among items seized were a desktop computer and the man's handphone.

Confirming the report, City Criminal Investigation Department chief Datuk Ku Chin Wah said police found video recordings of the man's sexual activities on his handphone.

Police also discovered a number of other pictures in the computer showing the man committing sex acts on several young girls.

Ku said the man was being investigated for unnatural sex and outrage of modesty.

The man's case was transferred to the Bukit Aman special sexual abuse squad to facilitate investigations.

Police have completed their investigations and the investigation papers have been sent to the Attorney-General's Chambers for action.

On Tuesday, the man was released on police bail after being remanded for a week, pending charges to be brought against him.

Ku said police would continue their investigation to trace other victims.

It is learnt that the girl's parents had divorced and the mother has custody of her.

Will the police look into certain UMNO elite members and Ministers who also indulge in sex with their own children?
Will the police now re-open my son case, who was molested by a female teacher Nora Zam Zam with encouragement from Sri Kuala Lumpur Management.
Or will money, position and being own kind protect these sick people from prosecution?
