Now PKR can eat own shit

PKR’s dossier on Khalid no longer a Pakatan issue – Kua Kia Soong

After PKR secretary-general Datuk Saifuddin Nasution’s expose of a 40-page dossier “detailing alleged wrongdoings and questionable practices” of Selangor Menteri Besar Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim, the melodrama over the MB’s replacement is now every Malaysian’s business.
It is no longer a Pakatan Rakyat sitcom that seems to drag interminably in the Malaysian media.
First, we demand that the Malaysia Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) start immediate investigations into these alleged questionable practices of the MB by looking into Saifuddin’s 40-page dossier.
Secondly, PKR and PR should account for their cover-up of Khalid’s alleged wrongdoings all this time.
  • These are the questions engendered by Saifuddin’s bombshell, namely:
  • When was the first of Khalid’s malpractices discovered?
  • Was the first alleged wrongdoing discovered after the 13th general election since Tan Sri Khalid was reappointed MB after the 2013 election?
  • How did Rafizi the rat-catcher miss out on these alleged malpractices?
  • Is Rafizi only a selective rat catcher?
  • Has Tian Chua been kept in the dark about Khalid’s malpractices since he was quoted as saying only yesterday that Khalid would still be the state economic adviser when Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail becomes the MB. Or did Tian think that these charges are not that serious after all?
  • Was it PKR/PR’s plan to destroy this dossier if it succeeded in forcing Tan Sri Khalid to step down?
We thank Saifuddin for performing an admirable public service by alerting us to the existence of this dossier alleging wrongdoings of the Selangor MB.
But as Khalid has warned him, these alleged malpractices had better be adequately backed up, or he and PKR will be facing some serious defamation charges.
Saifuddin should realise that there is no turning back now. Malaysians will not accept these serious charges being withdrawn should Khalid step down because they involve the interests of the rakyat of Selangor and the whole country.
The genie has been let out of the bottle. As Shakespeare would quip, “Mischief, thou art afoot – take thou what course thou wilt!” – August 5, 2014.
